Winchester Academy High School
When entering high school, students have gone through their middle school years, gained independence and are now ready to embrace high school where we guide them to become the leaders of tomorrow. Winchester Academy High School focuses on the individual God-given talents of our students. Whether these talents be in the areas of the academics, theater/drama, dance, art, or sports, students are given the opportunity to grow these talents and make them excellent while earning high school credit. Our students choose from a school of study and focus their electives in that area while fulfilling the core curriculum requirements for the state of Virginia on an advanced level.
Every student takes part in activities and classes that are important for applying for college. Winchester Academy High School students are required to become a member of a nationally recognized club offered at the school. Academic awards as well as awards in the concentration areas are earned and become part of the high school transcript. Winchester Academy believes in the importance of giving back as part of developing a strong leaders. Middle and High School students are required to earn community service hours yearly.
